Resisting the Print,

These folding free hanging pieces were made between 2000 - 2011 using a combination of hand and digital techniques. The tactile substrate consists of several layers of Abaca tissue with a layer of silk within. Recycled scraps of paper, silk wax resist fragments, threads, were also inlaid. On the surface, wax marks and other substances were drawn. The piece was then printed, section by section by ink jet with Epson pigment inks.
